This is my go -to shop and the only one I recommend. It is incredible here and unlike any garage I have been to in Colorado. I've never been treated so fairly with car repairs. Every car owner worries about being overcharged for major repairs. It is NOT a thing at this shop. They are much more concerned about quality and returning business, and greed is not part of their formula. My car has over 160 K miles and the repair journey started in November. I called around to find assistance mounting winter tires. They had to work HARD to deal with bent rims and didn't charge more than they quoted, even though I know they had to work a lot longer on it. I wanted to write a review to support a local business that genuinely cares about its customers. Mike (the owner) and Scott are two of the best people I've ever dealt with in any service industry. They run an incredible shop. We have brought them several cars over the years, and they have been reliable, transparent, and consistent every single time. Their diagnostic work is excellent—they've even fixed mistakes left by other shops, which speaks volumes about their skill. More than anything, they earned our complete trust. Knowing we can take our cars in and never worry about being overcharged is priceless. They are always helpful and go above and beyond. 10/10 Recommend.

It’s not often that you feel compelled to write a review for a car shop, but when you have such an incredible experience as we had,, you have no choice. I can’t say enough good things about the service we received from Mike and his team. They are honest, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to work with. I had car trouble on my way from Denver and these guys got me back on the road and truly saved the day.

Brought my 2016 Ford Transit HD XLT in for rodent-chewed hoses and wiring at 8 a.m. They ended up re-wiring a sensor and replacing hoses and clamps. My wife and I felt like the job was done extraordinarily well and was fairly priced. We will definitely be back and recommending the shop to friends and family. On a trip to Silverthorn, our car stopped accelerating. We contacted several shops in town and were met with unfriendly answers until we found High Country Auto. We contacted Mike in a tunnel, and although it kept cutting out he stayed on the phone the whole time. This reflects Mike’s kind character as he explained our issues in simple terms and was very accommodating. He worked efficiently and our service was fairly priced. Although we only met Mike, I’m sure that everyone at this shop is just as friendly. Highly recommend this auto shop for good customer service and honest, hard-working mechanics.
