Shawn is an incredible mechanic and a truly solid human being. We ran over some debris after narrowly avoiding a serious accident on a cold, snowy, slick Sunday and when we pulled over we found our undercarriage cover torn loose and dragging on the road. Even though his shop was closed and conditions treacherous, Shawn came out to help us. He removed the damaged cover, carefully inspected the car, and explained that the debris had dented parts of the undercarriage (oil pan, oil filter, exhaust). Most importantly, he was honest and clear about the mechanical risks if we tried to continue our drive. We trusted him immediately. He helped us think through next steps, recommended a nearby hotel and restaurants if we decided to wait on parts, and later had us follow him along forest back roads

Highly Recommend!! On our way home to Eastern Oregon Our car got a flat just outside of town. Shawn used his automotive skills and put a tire on it for us after work hours! so we could be on our way home safe! Thanks Again Shawn! 5/5 ⭐️

We had a problem with our car on our trip. We arrived at Shawn's an hour before he normally closes. Despite having another customer, he tried to help us at the same time and order the part that needed to be replaced as quickly as possible. He and his family are incredibly helpful and super nice. His prices are more than just fair. I can only recommend him to anyone who has a problem with their car. Shawn helps as quickly as he can and he absolutly know what he is doing.

When we had a problem with our car, shawn helped us immediately. His prices are extremely fair, and he always answered all our questions and explained things to us. I've rarely met such a wonderful family that is so helpful.

We feel very blessed to have experienced a day with High Country Automotive. We were stranded on the corner of Silver Lake Rd and Highway 97. Yep, middle of nowhere. They arranged for the tow with a company who worked with my roadside assistance to save me $. They did a complete diagnostic. They thoroughly explained the problems and researched ideas to help us safely and economically get back on the road for our 7 hour drive home. They were welcoming, professional, very knowledgeable, and they helped us with needs and comfort while we waited. They were so friendly and personable. Their charges were Very reasonable. They are just extraordinary people! We are truly blessed to have had the experience of a day with them ♥️
