I gave 1 star because I had to. I really thought I found a good mechanic shop that wasn't shady. I already used them for a couple of things and they did great, but unfortunately that was short lived. My son took his van back to hometown to have them do a rear brake job. About 2 months before they did the front brakes. But they called me with a quote of $953 and looking at the quote they were charging us $120 for a new tire, 5 tire disposal fee, $1 for another tire fee, $242 for rear rotors, $78 for rear brake pads, $34 for 4 wheel nuts for the front, $70 for 4 wheel studs for the front. So I called them back about the quote, I had to ask for a different quote to only include the the brakes and rotors and the studs and nuts (because I thought it was for the rear, you know the job I took the

This is the best experience I have ever had with a shop. I dropped my truck off and had tires and wheels done. The truck came back feeling brand new and looked great. The owner helped me out. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. This place was recommended to me by a friend and I made the trip from Winter Haven, it was worth the drive. I will always make the drive when I need work done. I highly recommend Hometown Auto to everyone.

They got me in in a timely manner, didn’t try to sell me a bunch of things that didn’t need done, got my service done super quickly, and above all else the price was great! Absolutely awesome service. Brandon does all my fleet service and my personal vehicles. Been trading with Brandon for 15 years. He has done countless truck lifts for me and he maintains all of our trailers. Can he make a mistake? Absolutely! Does he remedy them? 100%. There is no small shop like his I would trust more for my work.
