Very friendly and informative. Our car broke down on the highway and we were 2 hours away from home. They helped and stayed past hours to try to get us situated. The price for the service was very fair. If I can give 10 stats I would.

My family and I woke up to a car (VW TDI) that wouldn’t start and we were at a loss after a jump and battery replacement didn’t work. I called many shops around Somerset that Friday but only Hornick’s gave me the confidence that they would do their best to possibly get me back on the road that day… and they delivered!! After getting a tow to Hornick’s, they quickly diagnosed it as a fuel pump and fuel viscosity issue (temps overnight had been sub-zero). Andy and his crew had me in and out of there in 90 minutes. Throughout that 90 minutes Becky (in the front office) worked to make sure I had transportation options just in case it required a longer overnight fix. It was a crazy day for my family and I. Hornicks delivered and I’m super grateful

Andrew and his team were phenomenal both in performance as technicians, but also in fairness. I live in Michigan but was traveling through Pennsylvania in my Diesel pickup and suffered a breakdown. I got towed in on a Wednesday morning and they got right on my truck, it turned out to be a clamp that broke at the welds and they got me on the road quickly and at an incredibly fair price. Unheard of in these times. Thank you Hornecks, so much. Job well done!!!

Late in the afternoon of July 31st, while traveling home to North Carolina, we were sitting in the parking lot of the 3rd Chevy dealer telling us they could not work on our Chevy Blazer. With no AC, and no engine temperature gauge working, we didn’t think we could drive home. A kind woman at the final Chevy dealer suggested Hornick’s Diesel Performance LLC, in Somerset. She actually called them, and Hornick’s told us they would help us. From the time we stepped out of the car they began to work. At first they told us we’d probably have to spend the night in Somerset. After they called for parts, one of the mechanics said he’d stay late to do the repair. After breaking down on I76 and being 3.5 hours from home, late in the afternoon, Hornicks agreed to take my car (Lexus IS300) and work on it first thing the next morning. Dewayne was extremely kind when I was in a state of panic . The next day he called with findings and was able to do repairs and I was on the road within hours. This feels like a family business that cares. I can’t thank them enough where other businesses in the area knew a long holiday weekend was coming and couldn’t guarantee work could be done or said they don’t work on Lexus cars.
