Howard's Friendly Services

My local agent from an insurance agency in Napoleon, Ohio referred me to this business. My father ran the Lima, Ohio warehouse for Pure Oil and Union Oil from 1948 to 1983. Howard's is like a pleasant step back in time and the SERVICE stations I remember. I called at 5:30 p.m. to inquire about a new tire to replace one ruined by a pothole. Steve, Howard's son and the present owner, took the time to ask what I had, oredered what would match the other three, and said it would be in the shop by noon the next day. He scheduled me just before another appointment I had in Napoleon. I was in and out in less than an hour. At my request, they replaced a turn signal bulb that matched, since they had a great assortment of bulbs in stock. While I was waiting, I enjoyed reminiscing and was witness

They fit my daughter in at the end of the day and had her tires on in 20 minutes. Very friendly and timely service. Thank you for helping this mom feel safe with her daughter driving this winter

Called this morning to ask if they did front end alignments. Abruptly answered and hung up on, no courtesy. Even if they did do the work I was looking for. That was enough to never give them my business. If there that disrespectful on the phone. I can't imagine if I had an issue with the work they would be of any help.
