If you’re ever in the need for vehicle collision auto body repair, I highly recommend Hunter Auto Body located in South St. Louis. They are reliable, honest and operate with integrity. Jack Hunter (Owner) took the time initially to not only show and explain to me all that was needed and/or required to repair my car, but also created a “Repair Plan” which included the total cost thereby eliminating any additional “surprise” damages or costs. Once the work was completed on my vehicle, they honored the “Repair Plan” cost they had quoted to me and the repair work was done to perfection. One of the best business interactions I have ever dealt with and I honestly can not recommend them highly enough. On a scale of 1 to 10 – they are a 20! This review comes almost a whole year after my accident. This was my first car accident, and I didn’t exactly know which way to go…after calling multiple auto body shops to get assistance with the next steps, Hunter Auto Body allowed me to bring my minivan so they could evaluate it. They immediately got me into a rental vehicle and got the ball rolling. I had been advised to go through the responsible party’s insurance company, and while it ended being a mistake and a hassle, Hunter Auto Body was always honest with me about everything that was happening and advising me actions that would be in my best interest. The insurance company ended up totaling my vehicle, and again, Hunter still advised in my favor (even though they would not be repairing my vehicle to pre-accident condition).

What a great experience! Jack has a real passion for doing good work and making sure the customer is taken care of. You can tell in the way he explains things to you detailing the repair process and what to expect. He also genuinely wants you to understand the insurance process so you don't get taken advantage of. I even showed up way early for an appointment by accident and even though he was obviously busy, he stopped and came to help me. We had great conversation, and made the process painless! I have not seen any work done yet on the car, and will do another review then. I don't leave reviews often, but I felt the customer service here alone is fantastic. That's rare these days and a breath of fresh air!

This is the best most honorable shop I have ever dealt with! My daughter had an accident in St Louis and I live 2 hours from her and this shop picked up her car for me and took care of EVERYTHING! They 100% took care of my family and have never had a shop treat me so well! Highly recommend for any automotive needs.
