I absolutely had an amazing experience with good ole James. He’s a true old school honest car salesman. I felt so welcomed in his dealership. He sold me what I was looking for. He doesn’t give you the ole screw around. I would definitely buy another vehicle from his lot. We had issues with the tittle and he was with me till the end. Issue was solved very promptly. Guys and Gals this is the place to go for a good quality affordable car and most importantly for an A+ quality of service. James you definitely left me with a friendly impression.

Went to trade my 07 Scion Tc for an 04 Yukon Xl. James Magness, (owner), only wanted to give me just over a thousand for mine, and wanted almost 2 thousand + trade in for a vehicle that needed work done to it. Wouldn't negotiate at all, would not recommend to anyone. He is definitely one of those used car stealerships that try to get one over on a customer. No positive review.

I bought a used car from James Mangness and have had it less than 60 days and have run into problem after problem. I took it back to him the first week I owned it because I smelled gas. He said he would fix it but the car still smells like gas. The first time I drove it for two consecutive hours, the engine light came on and it was diagnosed as having transmission issues plus fuel injector issues. He refused to do anything about these issues or give me my money back. He still says it's a good car and these types of issues are to be expected. He assured me at purchase that the car was in good working order and these in my book are not what I expect when buying a car from a person who claims to be a dealer.

I would recommend Hwy 298 Auto, and James Magness to anyone...including my own mother. You will arrive as a customer, but leave as a friend. If you want to be treated fairly by a dealer this is your place. James is a man of character and integrity, and a pleasure to work with. My next vehicle purchase will BEGIN here. He'll even shop for a particular vehicle for you. Thank you for make the experience of car buying a pleasant one. It was nice driving away without feeling like I had been "taken for a ride" by a used car dealer...

The car was EXACTLY what I was hoping for! It was in near perfect condition. 298 Auto went above and beyond to help us in our search and knows a lot about cars. They are willing to work with you, and they are honest and up front about everything! We are definitely coming back to them for our next used car. SO worth it!
