Hyundai of Orange Park Service Department

I had a very disappointing experience with the Hyundai of Orange Park Service Department, primarily due to a complete breakdown in communication, accuracy, and professionalism. Scheduling was smooth. I scheduled my appointment online using my name and cell phone number, and I was able to reschedule for an earlier time without issue. Check-in upon arrival was also efficient. I arrived 30 minutes early, checked in using my name and cell number, and clearly indicated that I would be waiting in the service lobby. That’s where the experience unraveled. I waited nearly five hours with only one brief interaction. Visiting the area from out of town and had a blow out on my Elantra. Had the car towed to this dealership on a Sunday evening with a request for help ASAP. First thing Monday morning my car was being looked at and service advisor Hattie Bramlitt let me know what was needed. She went above and beyond in contacting my road hazard company, got the needed approvals and had me back on the road in a couple of hours. And they even washed my car! Thank you soooo much Hattie for your kindness and professionalism. If I lived in the area, Hyundai of Orange Park would be my go-to service center. Thanks again!!

I took my car in to be serviced. I was very happy with the lady that assisted me. She’s not the one that was assigned to me, but she did everything she could to make me feel comfortable. I wish I had her name that tall lady with blonde hair very very nice. I decided while I was there, I would look at vehicles. I’m trying to decide if I need to trade my car in. The same lady that assisted me to the service department went and got a sales person for me. His name is Lawrence very knowledgeable very patient and informative. I like that because there was no pressure like there used to be in the old days, He was just there with his trainee to assist me ,And help me make the right decision. I would like to thank him personally for that.

Brought my 2023 Hyundai Palisade in for a simple servicing and tire rotation. Immediately I noticed my passenger front tire was still showing as having low pressure, but I didnt have time to go air it up until a few days later. That's when I noticed a gash on my sidewall that was at least 1 cm deep and an 1.5in long. When I brought it back into Hyundai the service guy got really defensive and tried mansplaining my tire and why it looked the way it does saying it's because I hit something even though it looked like a clean cut. When I tried pointing out that they should have said something he told me they won't tell you about something if it's not a safety issue and when I called him out about a cut on my sidewall BEING a safety issue, he said they wouldn't have told me if it's not leaking

I had a 8:15 oil change appointment, got there at 8:05. Checked on was told one ahead of me. After 1 hr 5 min car still sitting where I pulled it in. Questioned about when it would be done another lady said 3 are now ahead of me. One bay was not working was what she said. At least another 1.5 hrs. Not acceptable she was rude. She said everyone wants to come in early I told her that is why I make an appointment. I rescheduled for the following week at 2 since that was her golden hour time. I will not go back again to the Blanding Blvd in Orange Park Fl.The location at Cassat Ave is is just as bad. Manager needs to do better.
