Wish I could give NEGATIVE STARS. I came in for a simple patch for a nail. They insisted the trim was low and needed a new tire. Went ahead got the new tire. Tried calling back 4 times because I was thinking of doing 2 new tires so the car is even/balanced. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. Left a message. No call back. Car was done at 3pm same day. Went to pick it up next day - arrived at 7:30 AM when they open. Front desk was 10 minutes late was told could not be seen until she arrived. Once she arrived she told me my advisor needed to complete my paperwork. A DAY LATER??? He helped other customers before me when I was first person there. I was there an hour to pick up my car. UNACCEPTABLE.
Very disappointing service. I dropped off my car on Saturday for a check engine light, which was already noted when I made the appointment. No one contacted me until late Monday afternoon, and they even asked what the car needed, as if the appointment notes didn’t matter. Then I spent all day Wednesday and Thursday calling for updates and kept getting the runaround. Finally, late Thursday afternoon, someone called back just to tell me I should pick up the car because there was no promise it would be ready anytime soon. Why give appointments if you’re that backed up? I went a whole week without a car only to end up going to a mechanic outside the dealer. I used to like Hyundai, but with service like this I’d rather buy a bike than another car from them. Also, what’s the point of offering
Worst customer service experience. I scheduled maintenance at Hyundai Delray (where I bought my Tucson) and it was my first and last visit. No one could tell me what service was due or the cost ahead of time. I had to bring in the car for a quote. Building signage was a mess. three buildings all with shoddily taped paper on the door "service is a block down and a block over". Really, that is how you do business? Anyway, got there. The only positive was the polite young man who took my key. Inside, two miserable staff at the podium ignored me. When I asked for help, the woman rolled her eyes and told me to sit down. Worst service ever. So bad I will never buy another Hyundai. I needed my motor mounts replaced, which was covered under my warranty. It had been diagnosed by a mechanic outside of Hyundai. They proceeded to do their own work by replacing several different repairs, which did not work. They finally did the warranty work, which was the problem, but they charged me for all the unnecessary repairs. Corporate sided with this dealership, which is outrageous. They said I signed for the repairs which was at the end and I couldn’t get my car back without signing. Strongly under duress. Watch out for these people!
Overall, the experience was ok. They Uber'd me home for 4 hours while they serviced my car, and Uber'd me back to collect it. This was a free service and much appreciated. That said, there is a strange level of disorganization and human disconnection here. Neither of the two people who worked with me looked me in the eye when they talked to me. They stared at their screens and held the entire conversation doing so. There was confusion about my car and free servicing (included when I purchased it) that I had to help correct, and when I collected my car, staff struggled to locate it before finding it line for car washing (which I had requested and had just signed off as complete). It was not washed and the car washing crew had left for the day. So, not terrible but the staff seem disorganize
