Within a very short time, it became obvious the transmission was failing hard shifting, slipping, warning signs that don’t just appear overnight. What’s most frustrating is that this feels conveniently undisclosed. There is no way a dealership “inspects” a vehicle and misses such a major issue, especially one this serious and expensive. These guys are awesome! I knocked an exhaust vent off my bumper in the snowstorm. I tried for close to an hour to snap it back into place without success. Took it to Autohaus, and two different guys tried, for quite some time, to snap it in without luck. Then they took it into the shop, took off the bumper, and then were able to snap the piece into place - the same day. They washed the salt off my car and it's as good as new. All for a nominal charge. Very pleased!

We all know (myself included) never to go to the dealer. However, BMW sent me a deal for a complimentary multi-point inspection, so I figured what the hell. One $16K quote later, a friend recommended IM Autohaus. I spoke with Richard, brought the car in, and received an estimate for what *actually* needed repair at a fraction of the dealer’s cost. I find IM Autohaus to be honest & trustworthy, reasonably priced, and as an added bonus - they have 2 adorable office dogs. Hopefully I won’t need another repair anytime soon - but if I do - I’m so grateful to have found an excellent mechanic. Definite 10/10.
