Above and beyond service by Shegrud Auto Repair! My trucks power steering happened to blow driving up to Itasca State Park on a Saturday, so no shops were open. I happened to find Shegrud's Repair and gave them a call, hoping they would be willing to help out on a last-minute, stranded diesel situation. He was willing to drop his plans and come down to work on my truck. Had it fixed and running great in a matter of minutes! Reasonably priced, honest man, honest work, highly recommend!

Update: It is with a heavy heart that I edit my original review. Noah was a great guy but after driving and then towing our Jeep to International Falls we had to have it worked on by a dealership there. The bearings and seals were not installed correctly which caused even more damage costing us an additional $1500. There were metal shavings in the differential and the axels had to be replaced. We tried several times to contact Noah and to have him call or text us back but we received no response after his initial "let me know" call. Just be aware. Original post: Best mechanic ever! I called around every repair shop in my area and Noah was the only one to help with my vehicle troubles. He helped me the same day I called him we got the car up there and he got to work. He was very open with his communication and I feel like I understood what was going on. I would definitely give Noah Shegrud my business again I highly reccomend him if you need engine repairs!

Noah is the man!!! We were on our way up north for a fishing trip, but had our front left wheel bearing go out. We were broken down in the middle of nowhere on a Saturday afternoon... We managed to get a ride into town to look for help. They recommended Noah to us. We called him up, and he went and picked up the part we needed from another town, came and picked us up, and gave us a ride back to our vehicle. He fixed our broken wheel bearing on the spot, and got us back on the road. He saved our whole weekend. Highly recommend him!

We were on day 2 of a 14 day trip from Michigan to Washington when our brakes started sounding terrible.
