⸻ ⚠️ Vehicle returned with safety issues after “inspection” Iowa Auto Rebuilders Service Date: 12/16/25 I scheduled my vehicle here after a rear-end collision that directly impacted my trailer hitch. My purpose was clear: have the vehicle lifted and inspected to confirm whether the frame, hitch mounting points, or other hidden components were compromised and whether the vehicle was still safe to tow. I believed I was scheduling an independent teardown inspection. That did not happen. I was not informed ahead of time that a full teardown inspection would not be performed. After the vehicle was first returned to me, the emergency brake cable was hanging approximately two inches from the ground. When I raised safety concerns, I was told it “should be fine” because it was a heavy cable. I
