Friday afternoon bad battery low tires and codes in the 2021 chevy tahoe…. They cranked it out in like 30 mins before close and totally got me running again safely! Appreciate it and so good! Great pricing as well!!!!

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel obligated to share it. We brought my girlfriend’s Volvo XC90 over Teton Pass from Victor to Jackson because the AWD system wasn’t functioning properly. We dropped the car off around the holidays after being told they’d get to it. Then we heard absolutely nothing—no calls, no texts, no updates—for over 10 days. When we finally reached out, we were vaguely told there was around $1300 worth of work needed, but no clear explanation of what had been diagnosed or done. Speaking with the owner didn’t help much—he was very wishy-washy and couldn’t give straight answers about the work, the timeline, or the costs. The biggest issue is communication and authorization. As a woman going into an auto shop alone, this was an incredibly uncomfortable and disappointing experience. I make an effort to understand my vehicle and learn when something is wrong, even though I don’t have extensive knowledge about cars. When issues were explained to me, it felt less educational and more like being talked down to. The explanations were condescending rather than helpful, and It came across as a dismissal instead of being informed. My Volvo XC90 was brought in for an AWD issue and remained in the shop for 10 days without a single update. After hearing nothing, I went in person to ask for information. I was quoted $3,500 for a repair. After the work had already started, I was they called and told me the price would go up because my vehicle is 4WD and would require an additional 4 hours of labor. Nobody in Jackson is driving a 2 wheel drive Tahoe... so this should have been accounted for in the original quote, not used as an excuse later to raise the price. Their labor rate is $175 per hour, which would put the additional cost at $700. Instead, I was called to pay a total of $4,900 with no clear or reasonable explanation for the massive increase. This bait-and-switch pricing and lack of transparency is unacceptable and extremely frustrating. I would absolutely not recommend this shop. We miss Roy. I guess we have to go to Idaho Falls to get a car fixed from now on.

I called Brian less than an hour before closing with a problem, and he and the whole team were eager to help me as soon as I arrived. I pulled into the shop with parts of my car literally being held together with rubber bands, and left feeling like the whole thing had a facelift (pictures attached below). This was an easy going group that worked quickly and efficiently, and had me out of there within half an hour. I won't be taking my car anywhere else!
