These guys were quick, kind, and efficient. Despite being initially unprepared, they were very patient and helpful. I wasn’t taken advantage of in any way and it was a breath of fresh air in comparison to some auto-shop experiences I’ve had in the past.

Fast honest service. Out of all the times we have been there he has never tried to upsell me on things we don’t need. He gives it to you straight and addresses the issue you go in for and if he finds something else he lets you know your options without some nonsense about a catastrophic failure if you don’t pay him to do x, y, and z immediately.

Jake’s Brakes is the only place I will ever bring my vehicle in the Pittsburgh area! Not only are they extremely knowledgeable and effective at their diagnosis of the issues in your vehicle. They work hard and quickly to accomplish the best and safest results! Thankful for this local business!

I was referred to Jake's by a friend and I wasn't disappointed. He is a really nice guy, who communicates well with what is going on with your vehicle, and without pressing you to do unnecessary things. I always have mechanic friends look over my vehicle before taking it in anywhere to make sure I don't get ripped off. He did not even try. Jake's prices are more than fair and he listed exactly what I already knew, that was wrong with my vehicle. That means a lot to me and I appreciate it! I would definitely recommend this place!
