I had an issue with my wives car with the infotainment system. I found online where some people who had experienced the same thing tried to have it fixed by allowing the dealership to push an update. This “fix” caused the system to brick, resulting in a necessary replacement $3000. I asked the dealership if this was still a concern to which they said it shouldn’t be, and if it did happen I would not be required to purchase another, since they would have been the ones to brick it. Well they pushed the update, the system bricked, and they refused to replace the radio. They do not keep their word, and have multiple times returned my vehicles without installing all parts they removed during repairs. My truck broke down in town due to a bad turbo. Service dept offered to get a re-man from Oreilly across the street for $2900, plus @$1100 for install . I was able to get the same turbo for $1200 and still pay labor (so the honesty and fair markup was already out the window). Service told me they fixed it and test drove it, and everything was fine. Arrived to find out the engine brake didn't work and truck was very sluggish. Boost psi was only up to 6-8 psi during acceleration, not the normal 25-30. Service didn't want to hear it. I asked them to take a look at it because it wasn't fixed, and their response was maybe in 3-4 business days they'll have an opening. They knew I lived 3 hours away. What is going on at James Hodge Dodge? Have they gone out of business? They said on my next free oil change I will have to spend $400.00 to do maintenance that they require to keep getting free oil changes. Thats not what is in their advertisement for free oil changes. I won't buy another vehicle at this place.
