Great service and great people! Thanks for rebuilding my transmission!!! Runs great!!!

Had a full transmission rebuild and one seal was bad on the top of the transmission and they did replace it fairly quickly. But when asking about a transfer case leak ( we did not have before) I was told it was a seal on the back side of it and they do not cover it. I was told they “usually do t have a problem out of them and we don’t mess with the transfer case”. But we didn’t have this problem before they worked on it and was told if you want it fixed bring up here and we can charge you to fix it but it won’t be covered under a warranty. Will not be going back up there for anything. Could have spent an extra $500 bucks and had it done right the first time and a “we touch it we warranty it”.

Five stars do not do this company justice. The qualities here are hard to find these days. friendly, honest, family-orientated, and quality work. been there 3 times. Always professional. Go there and you will for yourself.

If you're looking for an HONEST, reliable, and TRUSTWORTHY transmission guru then look no further! After taking my vehicle to another shop in Athens, I was told that I needed a brand new transmission due to metal shavings being in the transmission oil (I'd just purchased a 2014 GMC Terrain and it was, at times, shifting hard and seemingly slipping. At other times, it would shift out beautifully with no issues). I informed Mr. James of what it was doing and he told me to bring it to him to diagnose because it may not in fact be the transmission. Turns out, it was NOT. After he diagnosed it and drove it for a bit, he informed me that I needed to have my wheel sensors replaced and my ABS system serviced. He highlighted what I exactly needed to get done on the diagnostic paperwork he provided.
