JBK Automotive

JBK is in the space formerly occupied by East Mountain Automotive near Edgewood. I took my car in for some basic service (oil change and tire rotation) to see how their service works and am happy to report that they took my car in when they said and had it done quickly and for a reasonable price. I have been wary of taking my car to the chain oil change places lately after a bad experience at one where they tried to pressure me by more and then stripped the oil pan drain plug threads. I hate trying new auto repair places because they often treat women as if we are idiots and try to upsell unneeded parts and service, these guys did not try to get me to purchase extras. They are polite and it looks like we found another good spot in the East Mountains for auto service.

Fast, friendly, professional service. Check engine light came on in the middle of a road trip and was recommended JBK by the AutoZone nearby after stopping to get a diagnostics test. JBK did a fool diagnostics test and was able to fix the issue quickly and with a reasonable price. I wish these guys had a shop near me!

Very friendly. Great service. JBK is one of the few shops in the area (they're now located in Edgewood, not Moriarty) that has the expertise to still work on older vehicles with carburetors. The team here is a real pleasure to work with. If you want to support a local business, I can't recommend them enough. Thank you, JBK!

My check engine light came on. They were able to take it the moment I drove in. They got the parts that afternoon and had completed the repair before closing that same day. Courteous, helpful, and effective! Their cost was reasonable - inline with my expectations. This shop is a great addition to Edgewood!

These guys are absolutely incredible! They handled my engine installation and every minor adjustment afterward, and got my car back to me running perfectly. Fast, accommodating, and fairly priced. I’ll definitely continue to go to these guys. Highly recommend!
