The experience has been great so far. The post purchased customer service has been great. The engine I bought has some issue and Russel is proactively working with me to resolve it. I got that used engine might not be problem-free. But the customer service is what set the company apart! Base on this experience I highly recommend JDM of San Diego and will buy from them again. My son is going to be looking for an engine for his project car. This is where I will send him to!

I have been dealing with JDM San Diego. For a very very long time. They are the most honest and straightforward people that I have ever done in my entire life. One more time I just got a new engine from them AGAIN. The engine is so clean but so clean In such a good shape that you can barely see any residue on a new oil. First of all this places has the best pricing hands down and free pick up!! Cmon no brainer to save $$$ in this economy. He even held the transmission in his inventory for a month without any surcharges which I feel most places do. Let me start this by saying that the owner of Jdm tried to strong arm me by trying to get me to sign a document that said that if I got my refund I would not be able to write a bad review which led me to do a charge back with the bank. I bought a Subaru engine from JDM of San Diego Inc. — no receipt, no serial numbers, no proof of the “compression test” they promised. JDM doesn’t do the work; they sent me to Uribes Brothers Racing (run by Miguel), which at the time was operating without a valid license from the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. They installed a motor swap that was never going to work because of incompatible internal parts (Japanese U-shaped cam sprockets) and, without my authorization, opened my block and left me with a Frankenstein motor built with parts JDM supplie
