Jeff's Gasoline Alley

This is the only auto shop where we simply drop off our cars and say "do what needs to be done". They do exactly that, what needs to be fixed. They are good about balancing the age/condition of the car with how much money should be put into it. We have been taking our foreign cars here for 18 years and have never had a problem. In fact, we will not buy a domestic car anymore, because it means dealing with another shop. We once had to have the car towed and it turned out to be a couple of dollar part which they fixed for free. It is so nice to be able to trust a car repair place and not have to feel like you are being "taken for a ride". Highly recommend. Update in 2025 now been taking our cars here for over 25 years and they still are honest and straightforward. Gotten to the point

I have been going to Jeff’s since I moved to Albuquerque in 1994 when Jeff owned it and then since Rick (who worked with Jeff) bought the business when Jeff retired. Top-notch place. Rick is always straight with us, very knowledgeable, professional and personable and willing to go the extra mile. Never had a bad experience with him.

Rick did a new timing belt on my daughter’s 92 Subaru last year after our usual mechanic refused to work on it “ because it was old.” He did an excellent job and this little suby is still running great at over 300,000 miles. And so many times over the years I called about an issue with one of my Subarus and he would do a possible diagnosis over the phone and he would be spot on Everytime! I think our 3rd gen 4Runners will start going here for repairs.

This is a really nice no frills auto shop. They did the 30k mile service on my subaru ascent for less than half of what the Subaru dealership would have charged.

Our Toyota Highlander blew an oil cooler line and dumped all of the engine oil. A common problem with this year and model of Highlander. The problem happened late in the day. Called Jeff's Gasoline Alley and they said bring it in. Managed to get the car towed right before they closed. Rick, owner, researched to see if there was any factory recall which would have been a free replacement, there wasn't. That was great of him to check! There, however, was an upgraded part to fix Toyota's design flaw. Rick and his crew did a great job to fix the problem and have me back up and running by the afternoon of the next day. The price was extremely fair. Outstanding job!! Would absolutely recommend Jeff's gasoline alley.
