Jiffy Clean Car Wash

One of the bays the sprayer doesn't work and I realized after I paid. No contact number to get my money back, but one day I saw the owner there and he gave back the money right on the spot. GOOD MAN! thank you sir

It's nice to be able to wash my own vehicle. However, the machines are labeled $2 but charged my card $4! Now I have to dispute those charges with my bank amd rely on coins there. Update your machines please!

This place is really subpar. Charlottesville doesn’t have a lot of self serve car washes which is frustrating cause this place would be great if they just did a little maintenance. Half the buttons that give you more time don’t work, the solution takes FOREVER to change so you eat up what little time you have waiting for the soap to clear the line. The foam brushes are irregular and don’t seem to work half the time, and there is no attendant or anyone you can talk to if you run into a problem. I’ve used this place off and on over the years, but after today with running out of time and not being able to add more cause the button was broken, I left pissed off and with soap on half my car.

A little sketchy at night, but Jiffy Wash still holds it down as a solid spot to clean your car. The supplies are always stocked and working, which is more than you can say for a lot of places. I do wish the timer lasted a bit longer—feels like a speed run sometimes—but it gets the job done. Honestly, this place is more than just a car wash. It's an iconic Hoos Motor Club hangout, full of memories and late-night cleanups. Five stars from me, drawbacks and all.

My go to. Cheap and almost always open. I like this car wash okay
