Esteban and his team are knowledgeable! I had an excellent experience at this Jiffy Lube in Santa Monica! They were fast, convenient, and very great at explaining everything. So I’ve been here twice Santa Monica location off pico. I wish I would’ve gotten the workers name that checked me out both times I’ve been there, SUPER NICE. Great customer service 💯 so Thursday I went and a guy was in training, the trainer was very Professional and his training skills was awesome. The Trainee did an Awesome job and followed instructions. One other worker helped him, but he was so unprofessional. The new guy was trying to close my hood and the guy that seemed to me , showing out. He took over at closing my hood, and slammed it so hard. It seemed like he was trying to show the training the wrong customer service. The new guy has a Nose ring. I took my van in for an oil change. Long story short, first they over-filled it, then I had to come back. Then they underfilled it, I had to come back. Then they overfilled it again. After returning literally 4 times within 24 hours, I left, with them telling me they put the exact correct amount of oil in this time. One day later, I got a oil levels too high error light and had to take it to the dealership to get fixed, costing me an additional $400. I have been calling customer service since September. They continue to tell me that the location owner will call me. He has not called, since September. I call them once a week, they continue to say, he will call me. He has not called. If you're a young woman trying to figure out where to go for a quick oil service: stay away from this location. The classic hallmarks of a scam are 1) a contrived sense of urgency, and 2) the "threat of consequences" – which pressures individuals into forking over money when they otherwise wouldn't. And unfortunately, this Jiffy Lube is apparently pretty familiar with that strategy. A few weeks ago, I recommended my sister run to this Jiffy Lube for an oil change as I've never had any issues with the company at its other locations. She is a younger, new driver and I guess looked like dollar signs to the employees. THE technicians is trying to push for synthetic oil which is not indicated. I understand they are trying to upsell the service, but the manager needs to train the staff not to scare customers specially, those who are knowledgeable . They keep on telling me they do not guarantee the oil change. I just requested a conventional oil and they keep on pushing for synthetic which is not listed on the manufacturers handbook for my car.
