Jiffy Smog a DEKRA company - 7013 North Aliante Pkwy - NV

I’ve been here many times to get my vehicles smog checked over the years. Showed up today early to ensure I got the first spot, but when 8:00AM rolled around, the employee still hadn’t shown up to open the location. I finally left around 8:10 when he still hadn’t come. Hire employees who take their jobs seriously and show up on time.

I have beef to this location 5 times and thee of them I was taken care of by Mike. Great customer service and even reminded me that I get a Veterans discount with my ID. I have never had a bad experience at this location. Highly recommend this place, and yes my car passed and it is old!

Highly don’t recommend this place! They are scamming! I’ve used this place every year in the past to do my smog with no issues (4 times). But since last year the people working there have changed I don’t know if it’s new owners or what happened. But I should have knew to leave anyway by the new big green sign that says “all failed test must be paid for.” Probably means they are failing a lot of cars multiple times… But I pull up it’s a bigger white male with glasses standing who tells me to pull forward I pull into the smog spot and park and get out he immediately starts downing my car saying how he doesn’t like Volvo they are terrible cars how he always fails foreign cars, they are literally trash. He proceeds to have me pop my hood for some odd reason I pop it as requested. He then asks

Jerk technician was trying to cause problems repeatedly before the inspection even started. Literally insulted my glasses, he was that into being disrespectful

Dont go there they guy is failing for no reason and on second charge 25 so total of 60$ for smog test (35$) first (25$) second he failed my car that dlc is tempered and it was just misplaced by him i just put it back in its place and did again and i pass he still charged me socond time 25$ worst place ever and they guy working there is also..........
