If you live in New Kent County, there is not a friendlier, honest and higher quality auto repair shop around. I’ve been going here since I moved into Providence Forge via a close friend recommendation. Jim and Scott are absolutely knowledgeable and thorough. They will not overcharge nor do they take advantage of their customers. Definitely a throw back to the old ole days of being honest and beyond fair!!

I really hate to leave a bad review for a local company. First I asked them to call me before the work was done on it and they didn't. I had a budget I didn't want to exceed. My issue was I had a radiator hose connection piece break and dump all my coolant so I replaced the piece myself. When it happened again it was clear I needed to get it looked over, so I had it trucked over. They charged me $550 and all they did was replace both the same junction and the other next to it with metal replacements. No hose changes, no pump replacement, the guy that called me for pick up even said it was nothing crazy just a couple of connection fittings. $550 for 2 fittings and they said it took them 2.7 hours. It did not take me nearly 3 hours to replace it. They didn't even fill my coolant reservoir al

My brother in law referred me to this GREAT shop he's used them for YEARS. I only needed a inspection but they really looked out! Very honest, dependable, knowledgeable, fair, and should I keep going last and most importantly trustworthy well worth going to no matter where you live. Thanks to your ethics and fairness you deserve 10 stars!!!

Full disclosure: Jim has been my auto guy since 1990...and Scott is carrying on the family tradition. I have had five vehicles in all of my 45+ years driving...every one has exceeded 400,000 miles. My 07 Toyota Fj has 280,000...and I trust it to make round trips to Florida 4-5x each year...and...ride the beaches of NC...I'm expecting 500,000+ Thank you, guys...you're the best!

If you want a state inspection, drop your car off all day. No appointment. No guarantee they get to your car. Guy said "could be today, could be the next day." This place really don't want to do state inspections.
