I’ve been going to Jim’s for years now after discovering them because they’re the auto repair shop of your dreams. No lies, no fuss, they take care of you and they’re honest. They’ve had me come back in a certain amt of miles just to check their work and make sure things were still looking okay and didn’t charge me - things like that. They won’t try to trap you into doing a ton of things that might not yet be necessary and talk openly about the timeframe you probably have left on parts. They are so accommodating and get things done so fast. They’ll find me cheap but decent second hand parts to save me money so I can still get something fixed. I called this shop to ask about getting an oil change using my own oil, and the response I received was shockingly unprofessional. Instead of a simple answer, the person on the phone sarcastically said, “Do you bring your own cheeseburgers to McDonald’s?” and followed it up with, “So don’t bring us your stuff.” They then said, “Have a nice day,” in the most condescending tone and hung up in my face. What makes this even more frustrating is that I’ve been to this shop before, treated them with respect, and even tipped for their service. To be treated like this is disappointing and unacceptable. I was genuinely trying to support a local business, but after this experience, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I can’t recommend this shop to anyone who values courtesy and professionalism.

Jim & sons serviced my vehicle and diagnosed and replaced the starter the same day it was towed to them. i am so pleased with the experience as a whole, all communications were very professional and polite very quick service (I was lucky to get them on a slower day but even so they wasted no time getting my car back to me) the price was very reasonable for the work that was done they did a really good job and correctly fixed the issue. You can tell they are very experienced and good at what they do. I have really struggled finding a good auto shop to go to with my car in the past and I have had work done on it and not had the problem resolved immediately knew I will not be returning to previous places but I'm so grateful to have the exact opposite experience with Jim and sons. after findi

As soon as I got there, they immediately knew what I needed and assisted me right away. I enjoyed talking to the man who worked there. I forgot to ask for his name but he was very nice and it was super quick from the time I got there and left. I got my inspection sticker and I got the chance to have a little chat with the man as well. Very very very nice guy definitely showed that he cared about his customers and his business. I 10/10 recommend !
