I was on a trip today from Belmont County to canton. My truck which has never given me a lick of trouble until today... the intercooler hose blew off three. Once at stone creek, once at Navarre, and once at canton. I was on work travel so I had no tools on me. I stopped at Jim and sons transmission service bc it was the closest shop to me on 77. The office staff was very nice and the owner came out on a 28 degree day and reinstalled the intercooler hose for me. He then would not accept payment for his help. Such a stand up shop. I appreciate you guys more than you know. Thanks Jim & Sons Transmission for helping me put in a pinch! Would highly recommend them for vehicle work. I had the best experience possible with Jim and Sons when my transmission suddenly died. They were fair, honest, and helped me with every step of the process. Heidi sent me text updates while I was working and made suggestions on what to look for in my next vehicle to make it more reliable for me and my son. Amazing - unparalleled service. Hopefully I’ll never need their services again, but if transmission issues arise I know exactly where to turn.

I called Jim & Sons after the manager at a local auto parts store recommended them. I spoke with Jake and he explained his honest approach to accessing and repairing a transmission. I had been given a bunch of BS from a different company that only wanted to sell me a new transmission for $6800. Jake told me he was confident he could rebuild my transmission for $3500 to $4000, if it actually needed to be rebuilt, and he'd warranty the work. In the end, he accessed the problems and determined we did not need a new transmission. He made repairs and had the car running great again for $450! Jake and the entire Jim & Sons company were honest and a pleasure to work with. The absolute best!

These guys are great and honest people to work with. I took my 2020 Chevy Colorado in for a transmission shudder after a couple failed trips to the dealership. They were able to get it diagnosed and fixed in just a couple days with no appointment. My truck hasn’t driven this smooth in a long time. They kept me in the loop the whole time and the pricing was very fair. Definitely recommend them it was a great experience.

These guys are great! Everyone is so nice and courteous. Had the transmission in my 2017 Ford Edge rebuilt. They gave a 2 year warranty but in order to get it I have to go back in 15 days so they can check it out for loose bolts, lines etc no cost. Who does that? They are just great, cant say that enough!! If you go anywhere else you are throwing your money away.
