Joby's Gulf

These guys are a racket. Vehicle got stolen from my house in Uniontown on 10/21. Luckily we found it it Markleysburg that same day. Well UPD/PSP had it towed from Markleysburg to Joby's. For less than a 24 hour towing they are charging me $825! They charge you extra for "secure holding" which is literally behind a rickety garage door and a significant upcharge simply because its the police having it towed. On top of the $75 daily they can and will charge you. I was told they "don't budge" on that charge either. They are 100% unregulated so they use whatever they can to charge the most they can and they pass the buck off to insurance. If this happens to you I suggest that you do what we did and call the Victims Advocacy department in Uniontown as well as the DAs office. They charge these fe

I’m not sure of the gentleman’s name but he picked me up yesterday after blowing out my tire. He showed up 5 minutes after I called for a tow through AAA. He was the nicest, easiest going guy I may have ever met. The 20 minute ride to the garage was enjoyable as I chatted with him. He made my horrible day turn around instantly and I thank him for that!

I've used these guys for towing 3 times. Once was for 30 miles to get my wife's car to the nearest Volkswagen dealer. Price was reasonable for the 30 mile trip. (One way). The latest was for a 2 mile tow. They charged $100. I think someone got taken advantage of? 🤔 It was me.

Locked my keys in my car. They told me they could have somebody to my house in half an hour, the gentleman got here in 15 minutes, took him 2 minutes to pop the lock. $50, exactly as estimated over the phone. Maybe I'll just spend the $5 on a new key next time, but they took care of me promptly and effectively.
