Johnson’s Auto Repair Shop is hands-down one of the best experiences I’ve had with any auto repairs that my suv needed. Jimmy (the mechanic) is knowledgeable, honest, and fast—exactly what you want when your car’s giving you trouble. I had some serious issues with my engine, and he got me back on the road quicker than I expected, all without trying to upsell me on things I didn’t need. Thanks Jimmy for your expertise —he’s extremely reliable, and he was absolutely right…my car runs as smooth as a piece of wood sanded down. I had an issue with the air conditioning in my car, I stopped by the nearest mechanic shop to have it checked out which happened to be Johnson Service Center in Hackensack. Jimmy the mechanic and owner told me to pull it in the driveway of the shop and he’d have a look. At the time, I noticed he had other projects going on so I thought for sure he was gonna take a look and schedule an appointment for a later date, however he told me he could fix it in 30 minutes and asked if now was a good time to start. He hooked up my car, I waited a little less than 30 mins and I was on my way! Highly recommend this body shop, and grateful that Jimmy was so quick and accommodating, despite his busy shop! Will be using him for all future mechanical needs!

I started coming to Johnsons Service Center for a couple of years now and I will never go anywhere else! The owner, Jimmy Pavon, is super personable, very thorough, never overcharges, has a passion of automotive care, is always very honest about vehicle diagnosis, he explains everything, and most of all he is trustworthy. Taking care of your car is so important and it's so comforting to know that he also cares about your car. I always refer him to anyone who asks for a great mechanic!

I had such a good experience getting my breaks serviced here. Great customer service, friendly, professional, and competitive pricing. Would highly recommend this shop. The mechanics are very knowledgeable as well and don’t try to bleed you dry with unnecessary work. As a woman I appreciate that!

Jimmy is a great person. Every time I bring my car for service he is very honest on what needs to be done and what I can hold off until I am ready. Take all my cars to him to do work on.
