I’ve never before experienced an auto repair shop that was so efficiently and smartly run from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave! Wow, what a place. And their customer service is truly top notch! The guys there are friendly, respectful, communicate well (and often!) and their organizational system (paperwork, payment options, etc) is smooth and makes things easy. Go see for yourself!

I had a wonderful experience getting my vehicle inspected at J&S Auto Repair on Pontiac Ave. in Cranston. The staff was super professional and friendly, especially Christian and Allan, and the mechanics worked in an efficient and quick way. They answered all of my questions, and I never felt like they were trying to sell me any services or pressure me about what my vehicle “needs.” I highly recommend this shop, and I truly appreciate how they respected my time and treated me as a customer. I will definitely come back!

Took my car in for a state inspection, and they found an issue to be fixed, and I loved that they brought me under the car to see and explain the issue, and it was fixed promptly. They didn’t charge to re-inspect after the issue was fixed, which was great and all the staff were super friendly!

I had a frustrating experience with this garage, even though the mechanics themselves seemed knowledgeable and professional. I came from New Hampshire (about a two-hour drive) for a pre-sale inspection. The first time, everything went smoothly — the staff were helpful, and I didn’t mind paying an urgency fee to get a quick appointment. For my second visit, I booked a week in advance and later made two small scheduling changes — once to move the appointment to a different day, and once to move it one hour later. Both changes were confirmed by the office, and I was told everything was fine. On the day of the appointment, halfway through my long drive, I called to double-check — and was told they might not even be able to service my car that day. No one had informed me of any issue beforeh

This my first experience with J&S-- everything up to this point has been great!!Very knowledgeable,professional and did everything to please me. J&S staff excellent to work with. I 'm very pleased with the way things are being handled.
