This was my first time at K&E, but I chose them because they have great mechanics (one of them has done my car work for a long time) and all 5 star reviews. They diagnosed my issues perfectly, and the price was the most honest I've seen with any local auto shop. My car handles beautifully now with the new tie rod, and the ticking I was hearing wasn't my timing chain, it was my compressor, so I have air conditioning again now. They also didn't try to change out brakes that were still good, replacing only the ones that were required (a lot of dishonest auto shops will tell you that you need new brakes all around when that's not the case.)
