Kearney Tire & Auto Service

Do NOT do business here. Horrible customer service. I was yelled at that I was wrong about my car after explaining multiple times. Not to mention they didn’t even bother to inform me that they weren’t able to perform the service. I think they were just trying to rip me off because I had my new tires installed elsewhere. I was also charged $60 for an alignment INSPECTION. UPDATE: I took it to get a second opinion and the wheel bearing was in fact NOT bad as they had stated, and wanted me to have it repaired there. If you want quick, reliable, HONEST service, I suggest you make the trip to Miller Tire in Grand Island. The customer service was great, they were HONEST, and I paid $130 for an alignment rather than the $194 this shop wanted to charge me.

We had driven in from Colorado and just before getting off the interstate, the low tire pressure light came on. Kearney Tire was able to fit us in and check it out. Initially they said we had three tires with nails and they wanted to fix all three which I wa fine with. But then they came back and said only one needed to be fixed and one nail turned out to be a rock. The honesty was impressive. They were super nice and efficient as well. I wish had gotten the name of the young man who helped us. Initials NW according to the receipt.

Left my daughter sitting in the shop for 3 hours. She showed up a little after 8 with what she thought was a low tire and just needed air. She couldn't get a ride back to school so she waited. They had her number and never called her, or checked in there sitting area when her car was done. They claim the tire was not fixable and they put the spare on, charging $30. She got out of there around 11. Pore customer service, left her sitting longer than was needed, and the charge of $30 for sswapping on the spare, that is rediculous, $15 maybe. If they had treated her better, they would have had additional business to replace a failed TPS, but they lost that business from us, and any future business my kids might have brought while in Kearney. Blew the 2nd tire for the day on our camper, called Kearney and they hooked us up with 2 new tires right away and had us on the road in no time. Friendly guys. Great service. THANK YOU!

Always have the best service here! Trent drove to my house to pick up keys on the way to tow my car from 10 miles outside of town so I wouldn't be inconvenienced to drive to the car and meet him. It is the extra kindness I encounter there all the time!
