my friend bought a 2014 Chevy Captiva from the Fairview Heights location at the end of Dec. she put $3000,total price of car was $8200. Forty five days later (and after she's paid 2 car notes, the car completely stopped in the middle of the street. It took the car lot 4 days to tow the car back to their lot and then they told her it needed a timing chain which would cost her another $1300 to repair. They have had her "new" car in their shop for over a month. They finally agreed to let her pay $700 towards repairing the timing chain and they would add $100 to the remaining payments. She took the $700 and they called her 2 days later and said she needs a whole new motor. They say the oil ran out in the car. I really, really wanted to give this place a good rating. The mechanics were accommodating and nice, the sales man Justin was super sweet and helpful, and the vibe was pretty good. However, I test drove 6 cars - all which had an issue resulting in them being unsellable! The 2015 Kia Soul I wanted, started sputtering on a main road and eventually died off to the side. The mechanic said “I believe it just needs an oil change”, but when he changed the oil and test drove it, he ended up having to stop at a different location because the car couldn’t even make it back to the lot! There were also cars on the lot, for sale, that needed to be taken to the shop and were not able to be driven off the lot despite being for sale. The car had issues within weeks. Engine ended up needing to be replaced which cost more money than the car is worth. don’t let these people scam you by selling you a trash car or at least get it checked before consistent usage. Sad world we live in

First I live 55 min away. After arriving I was advised the key to the truck I originally spoke with them about, and had to choose another. I bought at 2006 GMC Yukon Denali CASH MONEY. Check engine light never went off. And had to replace Catalytic Convertor, Radiator, Spark Plugs, Oil Change, and some more stuff. Called Justin, and made a appointment which was week wait. Arrived, advised the ride control, and air bag light won't go off. My appointment was at 10am. I was there at 945am. After waiting for hour and half with no updates. I just got in my truck and pulled off. If I could give them a 0 star i would. You don't treat customers like that when you sell them a vehicle that won't pass inspection. I would move on to another dealer.
