I love Kippy. He did my brakes a while back. He wasn't super-cheap. But I think the price was fair. I want him and his employees to make a living wage. It didn't feel like I was paying a huge corporation to get rich off of minimum wage employees. Today, I went back. My check engine light was on. I had 3 questions. What is this gonna cost to fix? Is it dangerous to drive? Will it get worse (more expensive) if I put it off? He said: about $500. You're safe to drive, but your gas milage will suffer. It's a broken sensor. It's not gonna get more broken. He knows I'm currently saving for shocks. He told me shocks are still my next priority.

I highly recommend Kippy Automotive. Took my car to the dealership and was told I needed brakes all around. Decided to get another opinion because I didn't think the dealership was being truthful. Unfortunately they were not. Thank you Kippy for honest service and only performing work that was required. It's so hard to find honest and fair service these days. Keep up the good work. I would leave no stars if I could I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland to this shop almost a week back for a simple sensor that cause the car to overheat. These guys had no idea on how to work with the HEMI engine in my vehicle instead of saying that they continue to take my care in saying they’ll pinpoint it ,it took almost 2 weeks as the first time around the car still got sent back to me with overheating issues the kept again for a week then sent me my vehicle back telling me it was the fan and a sensor but after taking the car for a ride the vehicle then threw trans mission codes or issue , I hope these guys aren’t doing dirty work and playin with people ,money ,time ,and property. Kippy is a great honest mechanic, and great human being... I have been going to his shop since the day he opened, He has truly helped me out during the hard times with auto repairs, this is the only person I trust with my vehicles in Kansas City... The whole staff is polite and professional.

My daughter’s car started acting up, and Kippy’s was the parking lot where she landed. Even though it was close to closing, Kip took the time to assess her car for us, and made the repair for a reasonable rate! Great customer service! Highly recommend!
