If you want a good honest mechanic k Kars is the place to go. I go there for any problem my car has. Before I found Dave at k Kars, I went to three different mechanic shops about my transmission slipping and they when they test drive of it they said the transmission was going bad. I asked could it be the fluid. They said no it's a CCVT or CVVT. and it's a sealed unit. So it don't need fluid. I asked is there a way to check the fluid level? They said no it's sealed you have to replace your transmission so I rode around with transmission slipping for about 2 to 3 months before I found Dave at K Cars he put it up on the rack and he checked the fluid. he called me to come pick up the car and it was driving just like it used to. Kevin is absolutely one of a kind. Literally one of the most honest experiences I have ever dealt with when dealing with a mechanic. This guy definitely knows what he is doing and got me up and running with my work truck in less than a day turn around time. Many people will boast honesty and integrity but this shop definitely shows it through the work ethic and service provided. TLDR: Dave is one of the few stand up mechanics left in the world and I highly recommend his services! I found Dave through a reddit post for honest mechanics and decided to take a chance. Man am I glad I did! Dave is a very amazing and honest guy that runs an amazing place. My story: I live in Atlanta and my daughter lives in Orlando, her car broke down and I couldn't make it down to repair it, so I started searching for a place down there. I called Dave up and told him what was going on, he offered to help me or if I could get her car there he could squeeze it in that day so she could have it by her next work shift. Dave is incredible. He is honest, and didn't replace my alternator (turns out it was fine) even though I dropped off a new one for him to install and told him mine was bad. He could have done it and charged me for it and I wouldn't have known any better. He had my car ready the next day and charged a very fair rate for labor. I will only take my car to K.Kars as long as I'm in Orlando. I trust this man.
