Brought our 25 y.o.car in for an A/C recharge on one of the hottest days of the year. (Booked a few days ahead) The work was performed in a timely professional manner. About a week ago I had talked to Shelby about bringing in a chevy cavalier for possible wheel bearing problems, and we discussed tires also.So I drove over to them and then had the opportunity to talk to Shelby in person. All went well and within a day or two the chevy was with them. Lucus who was responsible for this vehicle found the problem: it had Zero to to with a wheel bearing. The bearings were fine. The problem was a very poor and worn front tire. The belt had also dislocated which would make the car shake & shimmy at around 48 miles per hour. (I was told it was a wheel bearing.) My point: Lucus was honest & fair. His evaluation was free. I only paid for a LOF. He offered his advice and made it very clear that I needed a tire asap. I had an issue with a tire on my truck and was looking around for prices and availability on a certain tire, and had sent a message to Knuckle Busters and within minutes they had sent me a quote back. What I really liked was they sent me a notice that my tire had arrived at their shop and even confirmed my appointment day and time! When I arrived at the shop, they immediately got to work on my truck and showed me what was wrong with my tire. The shop is neat and clean and they have a very nice waiting room area. Amazing service, very honest people here. The garage itself is so clean & cozy! As a female, I felt comfortable here! Shelby is amazing to work with, Lucas has been my mechanic for my car for YEARS! So happy to see these three open their own shop! They are honest and give good services. Will give you full detail into any issues with honest prices before they perform!
