I cannot say enough good things about Kobars Auto. They took excellent care of my 2008 Acura with 185k miles and were incredibly thoughtful and transparent throughout the process. While replacing my water pump and timing belt (my elective preventive choice), they contacted me mid-repair to suggest replacing the engine mounts, which I already knew needed to be done, and offered to do it for the cost of the parts only, with no additional labor since everything was already apart. I’ve been using Kobar’s for 25 years for all my vehicles’ service needs from maintenance to major repairs. We have found them to be nothing but honest and trustworthy. Nothing has changed with a partial change in ownership and the new owner has been a mechanic here for many many years. He and his wife provide the same honest diagnostics, service, and repairs and their communication is excellent. They will not fix something if it’s not needed and they are always fair in their recommendations. Honestly, I don’t trust anyone else with our cars, including the dealerships!
