I don’t know much about cars, and I got really worried when I saw a coolant warning and noticed the coolant level was very low and the color looked off, especially since I’m driving to Michigan tomorrow. The staff was incredibly kind and reassuring. They checked everything carefully, explained that it wasn’t an urgent issue, and did not push any unnecessary repairs, even knowing I’m not very car-savvy. They topped off the coolant for free and made me feel much more at ease. It’s rare to find a shop this honest and comforting. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Honest, reliable, and experts at what they do. Ed is the best and it’s refreshing to see an honest mechanic. We moved from Queens to Nanuet last summer and Koesters has to be the best auto shop I’ve had my car serviced at. Highly recommend them.

They are conveniently located near the Nanuet train station but I never noticed the garage on the corner until my vehicle started to overheat on the way to the train. I was a bit panicked because I didn't want to get stuck without a vehicle and since it was running hot and not starting properly I stopped in to see if I could make an appt for some time during the week. They fit me in the same day, allowed me to pay over the phone and pick up my vehicle after hours with no problem. I had no idea what was wrong with my vehicle and couldn't believe how honest they were in the repairs. I would recommend this place anytime. I used them again this past week, ju
