Kost Tire & Auto Service

I was visiting a nearby town when we noticed a leak in one of the tires. Locals recommended Kost and luckily was able to just make it before they closed on a Saturday. The whole process was seamless and efficient. I was blown away when I was about to pay because it was free of charge! Totally unexpected and lifted my spirits. I didn’t get his name but assume it was the manager who said something like “you guys were having a bad day already from what happened and we don’t want to charge for that”. I felt so blessed by this whole situation and totally lifted my spirit. I realized there were similar reviews when I got back. I’d totally trust them with your car. Amazing place - highly recommend!

Wish I could leave zero stars. Went in for an oil change, they told me I had a leaky oil pan gasket, though in hindsight, I never had a drop of oil in my driveway or my parking spot at work. Immediately after that work ($800) was done my car started making noise and my MPGs plummeted. They then told me I had a cracked manifold and needed a new catalytic converter. This car is only a 2021. Frustrated I went to another mechanic who showed me that they globbed silicone around my oil pan and stripped all the hardware to the point that they can’t fix my exhaust. They completely and purposely sabotaged my car. These people are frauds and should be investigated.

Kost was wonderful. I came in from out of state and had low tire pressure. They took my car right in no appointment and patched my tire, checked everything out for me so I could get home safe and sound. I would highly recommend the shop to everyone. I have also went to the one in Forest City. Same great service.

Brought car in for service of tps sensor 1 showed bad on dash they charged for 2 saying 2 were bad. Fixed a flat under road hazard no charge. They were out of 0w40 oil to do an oil change. Heard alot of profanity in shop .I would say they were unprofessional

Just before a recent 400 mile trip, my dashboard revealed a low tire pressure warning. I brought the car into Kost, where they quickly found a 4” nail in the tire. They fixed it quickly told me they do not charge for flat tire repair. Kudos for great service!
