Kruse Village

My mom was at Kruse for rehab for about 3 weeks. I am a LVN and I have worked at a few SNFs in the Houston area for over 21 years and worked with hospice, visiting numerous facility for 7 years. The staff at Kruse were very professional and caring. The facility is a little older, but well kept,.very clean and has a wonderful atmosphere. My mom has been in several facilities for short rehab stays past hospital admissions. She said that if it comes time to live in a facility, she would pick Kruse Village. Thank you to the staff for your wonderful care.

The Kruse rehab department did a wonderful job in helping my mother recover from congestive heart failure and a long hospital stay. With great care and thought, the team worked to strengthen her daily, with the goal of returning her to live independently at home again. We were so impressed at the communication between the shift change and different nurses; every nurse and therapist was very aware of her detailed needs and progress. Everyone was so helpful and nice; they went out of their way to solve challenges. They always asked her thoughtful questions to assess her, and made many helpful suggestions for changes at home. Excellent Experience. The entire staff. Very Professional, Caring, Encouraging. My Husband stayed in the rehab facility for about 30 days. IWe couldn't have asked for a better place. I could go on and on about the Excellent Care from all departments. Definitely Recommend. ❤️

The therapy staff in rehab is wonderful and did a great job working with my mom throughout her stay. Julie, Doe, and Christi were so helpful in quelling my own fears and concerns, as well as managing Mom’s therapy and advocating for her stay. It was a rocky start being admitted on a Friday night with no apparent call from the hospital and limited staff. But we settled in well once the week began. And although the place cosmetically looks outdated and old, it is well kept and the staff were kind and helpful.

My loved one was in rehab for a week. After 3 visits they said no visitors due to Covid. They sent him home with his arm all marked up from a fall, and a fungus around his catheter. I would not recommend Kruse to anyone. I know there are happy people there that buy/ rent rooms and homes. However when you put your loved one in for care (that they don’t ended up receiving). Come on, if their bathing/cleaning them… how did he come home with fungus that he did not have prior to going to kruse? That lazy lazy people. Also I don’t want to hear about short staff, that’s kruse’s decision on how many people are hired. 🤔
