Lafayette Car Wash And Detail Center

I’m a longtime customer of the Lafayette car wash. Today I had a really bad experience with a wash. I didn’t have time to check it thoroughly when I picked it up, but by the time I got home and saw later in the day, the car was only half clean. There was smudges on the outside, dirt on the inside and it was overall just a really half hearted effort. This is so much different than what I’m used to.

For the $195 interior detailing package, they wiped the surfaces nicely but left all the hard to reach nooks dirty, see photos. They work fast; 1h turnaround on a busy Saturday.

I had a front fender replaced. It was done quickly and he did a great job, plus I got a free car wash. Thanks for the good work.

The car looks ok from outside, BUT!!! Paid 195$ for car wash inside and out, The car was clean before I came in, cuz I cleaned it myself before. I told the guy very clearly about the mud underneath and he forced me to do the package and he will take care of it. They didn’t even looked underneath, everything is the same!! Waste this 195$ for nothing. Be careful, there is many other places.

Purchased a detail and they missed one of my tires. Very clearly three tires had been cleaned and one was still dirty. When I came back and asked them to finish the job they refused. I spoke to two managers and they were both rude and gave me excuses about why they wouldn’t clean it. Don’t come here if your car is actually dirty. They’ll do a poor job and cut corners and then refuse to correct their wrong. Also the windshield was incredibly streaky - wonder if they ever heard of windex.
