It's all so very true about Karl and Lafayette Tires and Wheels; the glowing remarks about Karl are true and I'll give him another star in his cap for his workmanship, knowledge, and just plain southern manners. Look no further for someone to come to where you are to repair your tires. He comes with a trailer attached which covers everything he needs to fix your problem right then and there, And, ladies, he will not bluff you or overcharge you, he tells you just the way it is as far as cost is concerned. I was 100% pleased with his work, and he's not hard to look at either!

My new go to tire shop, at the new location on Pinhook. My previous automotive shop scuffed up my factory when I had some new tires mounted so I decided to get some aftermarket rims. This time I decided to trust a rim and tire specialty shop, and found out Lafayette Tires and wheels had a new location conveniently located near me and open Saturday afternoon. They took great care and did a fantastic job mounting the tires to my brand new rims with no rub marks or anything. Balancing is perfect! Not worth it!!! I went in and got 3 tires put on and was in and out real quick for a "great price" of $135. I heading out of town right after and the car shook horribly on the interstate. I didn't have time to take it back there, so I took it to Walmart and had them balanced ($60). It still shook. Eight days later, driving through Mississippi heading home, one of them went flat. I took it to a dealership there and got a new tire put on so I could get home. The tire that was taken off had a large bubble on it, no punctures from a nail or anything. I called the shop and was immediately met with a defensive response that they only have a 7 day warranty and there's no way that they sold me three bad tires, so my rim must be bent.
