I called Lakemoor Transmission on a Wednesday afternoon asking about a transmission and transfer case swap on my '05 Dodge Ram 2500. By that evening, Chris had sourced both of the parts I wanted for me along with the upgrades I asked for, and I dropped my truck off. Not two days later on Friday evening, Chris had my old transmission and transfer case removed, the new ones installed, and my truck back on the road. He broke down all of the prices including shipping and core fees for me extremely well, had a lot of knowlege to share, and kept me updated throughout the process. I brought my 2018 f150 to get a new transmission. I tried to go through the dealer but they wanted $3,000 more than what Chris quoted. I dropped my truck off on a Thursday and by Monday afternoon the new transmission was installed and ready for pickup. Chris informed me that we got lucky with a new shipment of transmissions, that just arrived at the dealership, and he got it on Friday. I strongly recommend this shop.
