Landers Ford Memphis Service Center

I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a dealership. MT. Moriah Landers Ford does not deserve people’s business. I brought my vehicle in for diagnostics and it quickly turned into an endless cycle of “we need further diagnosis” over and over again with no solution. Every time it was the same story: pay more money first. They wanted $200 per hour, and instead of getting closer to a real answer, they just kept asking for “more diagnosis” like it was a subscription. The service manager is also extremely misleading. She speaks to you like she’s trying to “earn your trust” and do the right thing, but in reality it felt like I was being played and kept on the hook so they could keep charging more and more money. I brought my vehicle in because it was over heating. I had a full coverage warranty on the vehicle. You refused to work with my warranty and meet their demands. You charged me 7 thousand dollars out of pocket and gave me my vehicle back in worst condition that I left it in. The vehicle now jerks and the check engine light is on. You ripped me off 7K and now I have to take my vehicle to another shop to fix what you broke. If I could give you negative 5 stars I would. I will not recommend this place to anyone I come across.

Took my car for an oil change, had done messed up and drained the transmission fluid instead, I told them I need to take a trip to Tampa they said OK, gave me a rental car that had broke down after driving it for 3,5 hours in Birmingham Alabama, did not give me another rental, and did not pay for the expenses, they told me I should get a hotel from my own pocket and wait for the car in Birmingham 2-3 days and take it back to Memphis because “the car was not supposed to go out of state” when I did not get any rental car agreement saying so. The manager of Autonation did not apologize, was very disrespectful and rude, tried to blame it on me and was lying that they called me back for another rental. Pleased with the service, displeased with the customer service. Ignored for long period of time. No acknowledgement for help. I had to speak. Lack of communication during the process. Information in system is totally wrong. Just so many errors going on. You never know what people are going through. Respect goes a long way. Anything opposite of that is ignorant and careless. Do better!!!!

They did good work, but for some reason my phone blocked all calls and emails.... so it was mildly frustrating not getting any info on what was going on with my truck. This is not the service center fault though.
