Landers Toyota Service Department

ZERO customer service. The service associate I spoke to was condescending, implying I didn’t know what type of motor is in my 25 year old truck. I told him it’s a 3.4. He argued with me that it’s a 3.5. I was firm: 3.4, it’s a 2000 model. He insisted that it’s 3.5, basically called me dumb, and then quoted me WAY MORE than what Toyota actually charges because “it’s going to need more than you think, but I don’t know what it needs.” I asked for a price breakdown, and he was hesitant to do that. Okay, bud. I called back and left a message for the service manager. I’ll update my review if they reach out. Included are some pictures, not like I need to prove myself, but for peace of mind. I love Toyota, I love MY Toyotas, but I’ll save my Sequoia purchase for another dealership.

Plain and simple, all desk personnel need a crash course in customer service. Not so plain and simple: I had 3 total encounters during my visit. Two in the service office and one at the cashiers desk. All 3 encounters, I was standing for a good amount of time before I was even acknowledged. A “we’ll be right with you.” goes a long way. No greeting, not a single eye contact, nothing. It’s hard to believe such a large facility lacks a break room and dedicated lunch breaks for their employees. So why are the employees eating at their desks and then subsequently griping about having to stop eating to help customers? But also, why is the person eating their lunch having to stop to help me when there are multiple others at their desks not doing anything? Or why aren’t any of the 3 women behind t

My car’s oil and filter change was done in about an hour.I saw the vehicle all pulled up and ready to be delivered.I checked with the customer service rep who told me it will be done shortly.Another hour passed The vehicle still stood there and no agent approached me to let me know the work was done.Another agent tried to reach this agent who was supposed to be helping me.They got no answer.Ultimately the other customer service rep took care of the issue and prepared the bill. Very poor customer service and this was not the first time I have had this kind of experience at Landers Toyota.Cannot recommend them.

Scheduled service to have vehicle recalls repaired two weeks ago. They picked up my vehicle in the morning and brought it back to me late afternoon with only one out of three repairs done. I had to call to find out what happened (but they did contact the previous owner of the vehicle for some reason). No apology or explanation was given except for that the parts weren't in yet. I asked why I wasn't told this before the vehicle was picked up, and was told it was because it was already scheduled. In what universe does this make sense?
