My experience with this shop was disappointing and felt misleading. I called ahead and clearly explained the issue with my truck in detail. Instead of providing a realistic idea of potential costs, I was told to bring it in for an inspection. Once I asked a few more questions over the phone, the representative quickly suggested that the truck “most likely needs a new transmission,” which raised concerns that they already had a good idea of the issue but wanted me to bring it in before disclosing the likely cost so they can charge a diagnostic fee. Had I not asked those questions, I would have paid for towing to and from the shop, plus a diagnostic fee, only to be told I needed a full transmission replacement exceeding $5,000. As a single woman who gets talked down to by most mechanics, I fell in love with this place after the first call. Everyone was informative, answered all my questions and had a new transmission installed in less than a week. I will be recommending Landis Transmission to anyone who asks.

This place is great! We have a Toyota Corolla that ended up giving transmission codes after a squirrel decided to chew on a wire on our car.
