Leffingwell’s Garage

I got my 1989 Toyota 4runner fixed at this place. Soon after the brakes failed completely, directly causing a collision with a driver upon trying to stop. I blame Leffingwell.

The guys at Leffingwell’s are knowledgeable, experienced, and honest. They do what they say they will do, are candid about timelines for getting work done on your vehicle, and they are pleasant to work with. Car trouble instantly increases my stress level but they navigate that with grace, talk me down, and I leave with confidence that they are going to help fix my issue. They also go the extra mile so far as offering to bring our car seat to our home while our car was being worked on. Never had my mechanic offer to take car of me like that before!

Were not able to do what was needed to repair my car, which is fine! Yet They claimed they called “someone” and said that, therefore my car was left sitting there all week in the street for no reason. I never got a call, nor did anyone I know. Last conversation I had was a man saying he would do RESEARCH on the problem and then call MY number to give me any update. I even asked to leave a voicemail if I did not answer. He said he would let me know. That follow up call never happened, nor did a call asking to pick up my car, resulting in nothing done to my car and it sitting there for a week. Never had a problem up until now.

This place and their customer service is terrible - the owners are usually rude and/or blunder something and never apologize for it or take responsibility. I just can’t trust them .

Leffingwell's understands cars and their customers - both old and new. Had an oil change done on my 1968 VW Squareback this morning. While this can be a little fiddly, Eric really took the time to make sure it was done right. They treat cars like they are their own. Thanks guys!
