Was an hour from home with a flashing check engine light. They were able to get me in right away. The guys were very nice and helpful, explained what was going on, fixed the problem and mentioned future needs that may arise soon as my car just hit 150k and has not had much maintenance yet. Thank you guys!!

These guys are the best mechanic shop ive ran into! Working out of town, 5 hours from home and they took such good care of me!

Got my truck checked for a blown turbo agreed to do diag. Get call back saying turbos fine and its one hour of diag pay. they dont know why its dumping oil. Agree to do oil change and keep an eye on it with um. Go to pay bill and theres two hours of diag. I pointed it out and he fixed it but i cant help but feel after all this that the two hours was intentional. Go to take her for a drive and shes SLOW. They left turbos intake disconnected and as you can see she is CLEARLY leaking oil. Probs wanting it to blow up so they get a bigger job. so i limp it back to the house to do half the job the "mechanic" did. Spent 350 dollars for a whole lot of nothin. Woulda been 500 if i didnt point out diag time. Mason is really nice, unfortunatly a bit shady i fear. but his mechanics are incompetent and

I am not from this area- I am here solely for work until the end of April (25’) I asked a Cedar Rapids Facebook group for recommendations on a reliable, auto shop in the area. (Since I have no idea where to look..) I am glad I was recommended to try legacy. Mason, has been amazing to work with. He has not made me feel embarrassed or ashamed about my concerns for repairs. The work he has done- fast, & done correctly. My code was triggered again from a repair just completed. (it’s a ford… has nothing to do with the repairer..) So I gave him a call. My experience was great! Got my oil change and didn't have to deal with someone trying to upsell me more services. Mason did make me aware of some brake wear but gave me a reasonable timeline to address them. Got exactly what I asked for. Price was reasonable and there was a nice area to wait for the service to be done. Legacy offered to let me drop it off if I wanted. You can not go wrong choosing this business for your vehicle needs. Straight shooters that will give you honest advice and not try to milk you for more money. This is my new go to for my vehicles!
