Les Schwab Tire Center

Needed a flat fixed. Took over 2 house just to get my car pull up. The week old popcorn and hot or cold water options were a great addition to the cold lobby and uncomfortable chairs. I’ll have to go to another Les Schwab location in the future. The south Ogden location is much quicker and more comfortable.

The Midvale location must have installed the front passenger tire without the proper torque extension. I came to this location to have it fixed, and after some arguing that I needed to go all the way back to Midvale, I was told they replaced all of the studs on that tire. The next time I came in for a tire rotation at this location, they broke another stud on that same tireand returned the car to me *without telling me*. After my mechanic brought it to my attention, they said it must have been me or my mechanic that broke it, because they know I do work on my own car. They refused to cover the cost of replacing the stud and then acknowledged that they had only replaced 2 of the 4 when I was there the first time. If they are going to argue so much over a couple of studs that THEY damaged

My van burnt up. I went to them to see if they had some old tires my size. My tires had 829 miles on them, and I didn't want them to go to the total vehicle lot. They didn't have any my size, and I couldn't get my titrs off because they were melted to the rims, and the luggage nits were welded to the rims. I had to leave them on the van. I paid $1,420 for them and need the money to go towards another vehicle.

I've had good experiences with this location. They sure like to charge for everything they can though. Example: I took my mom's truck to get new tires. They called and explained to me that a stud was stripped out. Ok. Thats great. Let's fix it. Appreciate the call to let me me know. 5 dollar stud swap and good to go. Or so I thought..... they then told me it would be $70 for labor. Even though it's maybe a 5 extra minute job. Maybe. Plus they were putting brand new tires on the truck. So it's not like they weren't already up in the studs business anyway. I suppose I could have said no and done it myself. But that's not really the point. Anyway. I also buy tires for my F350 and they have always worn out before the warranty was up. So I get somewhat of a discount on my next set. Which is nic

I've been coming to this location for the last 15 years. Multiple vehicles, dozens of tires purchased, and This place has never been the same since Kent left. Wait times are abhorrent, communication to customers and any kind of sense of urgency has all but vanished. Last year I purchased a brand new 2023 Truck with black wheels, I brought it in to get new tires. After I left I noticed there were pretty bad gouges to the wheels. No one else had touched the wheels or tires at this point. I brought it back and mentioned it to one of the gentlemen here and he said they have cameras that can see if it was done at their facility. He took my information and said he'd check into it and get back to me. Never heard anything back about it. Its a brand new truck right off the lot, but unfortunately
