I broke down in Altoona from out of town. These fine people let me tow my broken truck to them, got it looked at and back on the road in three business days. Their pricing was reasonable and I can't say enough good things about them. They really helped me out of a pickle and I will be recommending them in the future.

Family owned multiple generation. Very nice people. Mechanics have never let me down, very price conscious by offering less expensive options, always keeping me informed of cost, and necessary cost changes. Always ready to stop what their doing and take a look at an engine light, or a weird noise. I am devoted to Lightner's Service.

His prices are reasonable, and I trust him. The dealership wanted to charge me double for the same brake job. I will never take my car anywhere else.

Rod always let's you know what you're looking at cost wise upfront. He's honest, knowledgeable and amicable. He negotiates with his vendors to get the best price for parts so he can charge reasonable prices. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

Took our car in the day after I called, gave us a comprehensive list of everything they did and how much it was, called to confirm with us before doing anything to the vehicle, and worked super fast. Great people and they do good work, will definitely make this our usual garage.
