Lightning Auto Service

Not a reliable mechanic company at all. I took my car to them believing that it would get fixed and paid around $350 for labor just for me to end up paying double to repair their mistakes. I needed my turbo and serpentine belt repaired but I ended up having to take my 2013 chevy Cruze to my now permanent mechanics which found the plenty of things that Lightning Auto Service damaged in my car. I was supposed to only take my car to my now mechanics to fix a major oil leak but I found out that Lightning broke my cover gasket and covered it with silicone. They also loosened up a very important belt on the car, and I ended up needing to buy yet another serpentine belt. I will never bring my car back here.

Carlos is the owner and a great mechanic. He and his staff will get the job done correctly. I've been going to get work done for over4 yrs. They also have a good assortment of inexpensive used vehicles for sale there. Check out this local independent business owner for your car repairs. Would highly recommend this place. I had a problem with the front suspension of my Honda and by the end of the day, I drove away with what felt like a new car! Excellent communication and care throughout. Great value for money. Very professional

All I know is that they are always helpful and have done great jobs on our families' vehicles. Great staff and great leadership. They seem to take pride in everything they do, even the simplest jobs. From asking them to look into certain parts, to fixing your issues, they keep it professional.

Carlos runs great shop. Is very reliable and easy to talk to. Is very down-to-earth and never tries to rip you off. This place is by far, the best repair shop in the Valley. They take care of my van, truck, car and jeep. From minor repairs, to maintenance or even major engine repairs, this is the place. They, do not do transmissions or alignments. They are also not a tire shop. But, they are the BEST mechanics in all of South Texas as far as I am concerned. I have been coming here for over 5 years.
