Lloyd's Mid-Town Tires

Great experience! I was stranded in the rain on the 17 with a flat tire, took an Uber with the shredded tire to this location, and within 10 minutes was heading back to install the new tire. They were helpful, professional, and fast.

The Factory alignment on my GR Corolla was shredding the inside of my tires much faster than necessary. Had a great experience with Abraham and the team. They were able to tell me what the car was doing, and why, and also adjust the alignment to something a little less aggressive for the amount of driving I do. They also suggested a tire that offers a good balance of wet and dry performance, as well as tread life, at a good price. My car drives straight, smooth, handles well, and rides more quiet now. Wow! Abraham and Robert were my Christmas miracles! Open on a Sunday was so amazing for a working mom that needs the car during the week. They were able to get all the work done on my car to help keep myself and my passengers safe, especially with the upcoming rains! It is such a relief that all has been replaced and repaired and I’m back on the road. Abraham showed amazing customer care and service when I was having a card company issue…. 2 1/2 hours after being on hold with the card company, they weren’t going to be able to correct the issue at that time over the phone. So Abraham was able to help me get Lloyds in-house credit set up and I was on my way….right at their closing time. The whole time he was reassuring and so patient which was so welcome while I sorted through things over

Overall I had a very positive experience with Lloyds in Scotts Valley. However a significant mistake occurred re: tire replacement which they had to remedy. The design of my car has different sizes between front and rear, both rims and wheels, so they cannot be rotated or replaced in different positions . Apparently, an employee mistakenly put what should have been a rear tire/rim onto the front, unbeknownst to me, until I experienced a sudden blowout a few days later, requiring towing back to the shop. This was a potentially dangerous mistake, but fortunately nothing serious happened. The shop managers, to their credit, promptly accessed the issue, owned up to it, and quickly sent someone out to pick up a new replacement, getting me back on the road later that same day. It was nice to find a local tire shop that had my tire. They warned me in advance that there would be a wait, but their waiting room was comfortable, and there was WIFI, so it wasn't that bad a wait. I would recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to go all the way down to Santa Cruz to get new tires.
